YOUNG ADULTS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

The Young Adults Sunday School class is currently studying a six-week video series entitled Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? Author Philip Yancey will explore the heartbeat of our relationship with God through prayer.  We’ll take a look at questions such as these: What is prayer? How does it work?  Does it work?  Hope Miller will be leading the class in Pastor Brophy’s office or in Room 16.  Please join us for what promises to be very interesting discussions.

There will be no Wednesday Bible study with Pastor Brophy during the Lenten season.  Bible study will reconvene on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 7:00 pm

SAVE YOUR OLD CHRISTMAS CARDS

     St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is once again accepting the fronts of old greeting cards!  We will be collecting old Christmas cards through Sunday, February 14, 2010.  These cards will be sent to the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nevada.  This ranch is a home for neglected and abused children up to the age of 18.  The children recycle old greeting cards into new ones and then sell them to help raise funds for the ranch.  If you have old cards that you are planning to throw away, please bring them to the church office marked for St. Jude’s Ranch.  Thanks for your support!
