Vacation Bible School 2007

VBS JOYFUL NOISE PROGRAM

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and join all of your Vacation Bible School friends on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 10:00 am (at First Lutheran Church) and also on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 6:00 pm (at Chapel Pointe).  The VBS children are invited to share their awesome voices and the inspiring songs they learned at VBS on:

Sunday, June 15 at 10:00 am with the congregation of First Lutheran Church (100 W. High St. in Carlisle).  We will meet in Festal Hall at 10:00 am and perform in the sanctuary at 10:15.  We will have "Lemonade on the Lawn" following the service.

Tuesday, June 17 at 6:00 pm with the residents of Chapel Pointe (770 S. Hanover St in Carlisle).  We will meet in Festal Hall at 6:00 pm and perform at Chapel Pointe at 6:30 pm.  We will have "Pop at the Playground" following the program.

Rainforest Adventure: A Tree Top Bible Blast!

June 8 (Sunday) — June 12 (Thursday)

Dinner: 5 — 5:45 p.m.
VBS: 5:45 — 8:15 p.m.

The following volunteers are needed:

Decorations Committee:  meets each Sunday from 9 — 10 a.m. to work on decorations beginning in March in Room 24.

Publicity Committee:  meets each Sunday from 9 — 10 a.m. in Room 24 beginning in March.  Need helpers to distribute flyers to homes on Bedford, High, and streets near the church.

Dinner:  Leader: 

5 helpers needed for food preparation: 1 — 5 to cook, 4 to serve and clean up
