SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES!!!

     Registration forms are now available in the church office and on the kiosk in the narthex for your synod’s two summer camps!  Our Lutheran Church Camps in Central Pennsylvania offer a wide variety of summer camping experiences for children, youth and families.  Camp Nawakwa is located in Adams County, four miles west of Arendtsville and two miles north of Route 234.  Camp Kirchenwald is located in Lebanon County, one mile north of Colebrook at the junction of Routes 241 and 117.  The American Camping Association certifies both camps.

     This year First Lutheran camp scholarships are in the amount of $80 for each child.  In addition, campers who register may take the “CampPerson” discount of $10.

     Family camp fees for 2010 are $395 for the first adult and $250 for each additional adult.  Children age 5 – 12 are $130 each and children 13—18 are $175 each.  For the older adults, Camp Nawakwa is offering Elder Camp.  This camp is for adult campers 55 and older and costs $265 per person for the week!
